This Cocoa Beach Surprise Proposal was perfect! Nick and Lauren first met at a beach resort in Florida. BUT.. they both live in Michigan. Wait! It gets better! Turns out they both, not only live in Michigan, but in towns super close to each other. It was only appropriate that they started the next chapter of their journey near the place where it all began. The importance of flexibility during the planning of a Surprise Proposal

Let the planning begin! Once we picked the perfect beach location and setup all that was left to do was cross our fingers for perfect weather. A surprise proposal on a Florida beach sounds like a dream- especially when you are coming in from out of town. But it’s important to remember that it rains…a lot in Florida during our summer months. This day was no exception. We must have rescheduled 5 different times during the day! In the end we got so lucky!

The surprises didn’t end with the engagement ring. Nick arranged for Lauren’s parents to be here. You have to check out her face the moment she realized that her Mom was standing on the beach. Again..insert crying here!
