I feel in love with Emily and Ian the minute I meet them. You know those people who just light up a room with their laughter? Yup.. that’s them! It seems like an eternity since their engagement session at Riverside Park in Vero Beach.
Emily was cool and collected and I don’t think I saw Ian without a smile on his face the entire day. While they didn’t want to “see” each other before the ceremony we did manage to arrange a “first touch” so that they could have a moment to be near each other, read their personal notes and…shed some tears. Shh….don’t tell. Emily was afraid she was going to “ugly cry”. Not possible! Have you noticed how drop dead gorgeous this woman is? Plus.. you know you have a good thing when just reading words from your love can overwhelm you with such emotion. You should be allowed to feel it, don’t hid it.
The Florida sun certainly made it’s presence known during the ceremony! The Bellewood Plantation has so many great options for ceremony location. Emily and Ian stood under the shade of the Oaks, framed by an amazing hand made macrame hanging adorned with bright and vibrant florals. Just perfection. Surrounded by friends and family they said their vows amidst happy tears.
I adore the reception space at the Bellewood Plantation. Tented, yet still outdoors. It’s subtle rustic qualities merged perfectly with the bright hues of the florals and the vintage glasses that Emily worked so hard to collect. My favorite part… the Funfetti Cake! Yes.. I said Funfetti! It was incredibility playful yet sophisticated.
Wishing Emily and Ian a lifetime of adventure, laughter and love!
