House of Refuge Engagement
Combing their love of water and fishing during House of Refuge Engagement
This House of Refuge Engagement is one of my favorites! They say it is all about location, location, location. The same holds true for choosing the location of your engagement session. The House of Refuge was the perfect beach location for Taylor and Chris.
Best of both worlds! The ocean and the river!
You just can’t go wrong with a House of Refuge Engagement session. I really love this location because it offers both the ocean and river within about 25 ft of each other! It’s amazing and the perfect spot for couples who love the water!
Be sure to wear your shoes.. the rocks can be very sharp!
We started by exploring the rocks on the oceanside (hint…shoes are a must!). The perfectly sunny day and crashing waves were the perfect backdrop. As the sun began to set we switched gears and made our way over the river. The golden sunset did not disappoint. The River was like glass as the sun made it’s way down. Taylor and Chris pulled out their fishing poles and did what they do best! Fishing is for sure in their blood and we knew that we had to incorporate it into their engagement session. Be sure to check out Taylor’s custom pink rod! It’s way cool.
