Three Reasons Why You Should Have a Family Photo Session

Reason Number 1

Your kids will never be this age again. No matter how young or old how your family will never look like this again during your family photo session. Each year we change. The kids get a little taller, those chubby cheeks begin to disappear, pigtails are no longer an option. People change, grow up. Perhaps there are marriages and births. And grand babies! My point is.. all of these moments are important. they are all worthy of photographs.

Reason Number 2

Guess what? As sad as it sounds…the pictures aren’t really for you. I know it sounds crazy but you are taking pictures for future generations. These are the pictures that your great grand kids are going to treasure. They will look back at them with wonder and awe. It is a permanent record of your family.

Reason Number 3

It makes your Parents happy! Have you ever known a mother (or father) that doesn’t want pictures of their family? Giving the gift of a photo session is a sure fire way to impress your Mama. You will be the golden child for sure! Celebrate an anniversary, a birthday a family reunion. You would be hard press to find a better way to commemorate an occasion.

Don’t put too much pressure on yourself! It is the job of your photographer to guide you through the process.  I believe in creating an atmosphere were you are free to be yourselves. I encourage shenanigans and playfulness!  The most precious images we create are the ones where you are all laughing together. Absolute perfect imperfection. Wether you are a family of 2 or 22 it’s important to preserve these moments.
