Surprise Cocoa Beach Proposal

Gloomy skies and misty rain didn’t damper this moment at all!

It is always a tad challenging to plan and coordinate a proposal – but always, always worth it. Tyler’s Mom contacted me about a month ahead of time to get the ball rolling. Tyler knew that Cocoa Beach was going to make the perfect place for the proposal. Of course our sunny Florida skies decided to disappear causing me to spend the morning with crossed fingers. Over and over again I refreshed the radar in the hopes that the forecast would change.

Sure enough! I could not have planned it better. The rain held off long enough for Tyler to drop to his knee and ask a very surprised girlfriend to marry him. Liz was sooooo happy. I think they hugged for at least 20 minutes. Such shear joy. I love it!

But the surprises weren’t over just yet. Liz didn’t know what (or I should say who) was waiting in the wings. Tyler arranged for HER parents to make the trip to Florida that morning! I just adore her expression when it finally clicks that it is her Mom and Dad walking down the beach. Priceless! Well played Tyler…well played!

We even had time to pop the champagne and take a few family photographs. It could not have been more perfect!
