Gorgeous Melbourne Beach Wedding
(and why technology was so important for this wedding!)
Venue: Aquarina Beach Club/Brassie Grille
Florals: Violets in Bloom
Hair and Makeup: Tenacious Glam
Cake: The Flower Girls! (Wait till you see!)
The tide was approaching high and the sky showed threatening signs of rain. Nothing, and I mean nothing, could dampen the mood at this gorgeous Melbourne Beach Wedding! The perfect combination of romantic, classic and fun! As Tracy made her way onto the beach, in a super sweet moment, her daughter made a last minute adjustment to her mother’s dress.
Turquoise blue parasols added pops of color against the stormy Florida sky. Tracy and Cory said their vows and then incorporated a touching knot tying ceremony into the wedding. My favorite part was during the recessional as family threw bright yellow beach balls at them. So fun!
Why I didn’t mind a guest in the aisle
I’ll let you in on a secret. Normally photographers cringe when a guest plants themselves in the middle of the isle. Especially when yielding a large iPad. But let me be the first to say that there are times when this is the absolutely best thing you can do!
It was more than evident that family means the world to Tracy and Cory. However, Cory’s father could not be in Florida to witness the wedding of his son in person. He is courageously battling ALS. Thanks to technology they were able to FaceTime him in! He got a front row seat for this amazing event and got to enjoy it in real time!
If you would like to help fight this disease please consider donating to Tracy’s Walk to Defeat ALS page. You can donate here.
Wishing Tracy and Cory years of happiness!
