Wedding Photography | It’s all in the Details

I’ve said it before and I will say it again. I love Wedding Photography! Since often it’s all in the details, one of my favorite parts of the day is when I switch to my macro lens to photograph all the details that make your wedding unique.  Did I mention, it’s all in the details! For me, it’s the details that tie your story together and take your wedding to the next level (well.. from a photographic point of view at least!). I was looking back through my images from this beautiful wedding and realized that I was actually grinning from ear to ear.  It was the details that evoked my emotion.

It’s all in the details…

Burlap, bubbles, candy bar, sparklers and chalk boards? Yes, please! Oh how I love these kind of details at a wedding! I was like a kid in a candy shop when I saw this reception site (and I will admit that it was pretty hard not to dive right into that candy bar myself!). I love seeing all these little touches come together on your wedding day. Have you ever thought of having a hashtag for your guests to use while taking their personal photos?  This bride did! I love the instagram idea. Simply set up a chalkboard sign letting guests know your hashtag, relax and enjoy your reception. Later you will likely be laughing your head off at all of the photos.

Coffee mugs complete with chalkboards on them! It was simply perfect for the coffee bar at this wedding. Did you know that you can make these yourself? You know that this craft is in my future!
